Welcome to Mrs. Gunter's Kindergarten Website
Miss Smith   Mrs. Gunter

Welcome to our class web page! My name is Vickie Gunter and I have been teaching for 25 years. I am so excited about this school year and about being your child's kindergarten teacher. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Technology. My husband, Kim and I have three children.  Kimberly is teaching physical education at White Knoll High School, Jonathan is attending Midland's Tech and Victoria is a freshman at the Uninversity of South Carolina.  I love teaching kindergarten! I am happy to be a part of this very important time in your child's life.  I hope this year in kindergarten will help your child develop a love for learning.  Your support and  involvement are essential in determing your child's success.  Working together, we can provide the best education possible for your child.  I look forward to working with you and watching your child grow socially and academically.  We will have an exciting year filled with lots of learning, fun and rewarding experiences.

Brianna Smith is my teaching assistant. This will be her first year working with me in kindergarten. She will be a wonderful asset to our classroom. Miss Smith is a recent graduate of USC Aiken and has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood.  She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.  Miss Smith is so excited to be working with your child this year.
Our room is located on the blue hall in room 137.  Miss Smith and I hope you will come visit and see all the exciting things the children are learning.
